Merry Solstice! Today is the summer solstice and I rejoice in the Sun’s warmth. I give thanks for the abundance and prosperity in my life.
I am grateful to Joan and Roe for inviting me to give intuitive readings at the Ladies Night Out, raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.
I am grateful for my garden’s glorious abundance.
I am filled with thanksgiving for the blessings of Mother Earth.
Here are 2 ideas to celebrate the summer solstice:
- Fill a bit of cloth or paper with herbs (sage, rosemary , thyme, basil , and/or lavender.) Make a pouch and tie it with a red string symbolizing the sun’s warmth. Hold the pouch and imagine pouring all your troubles, sorrows and pain into it. Now bury this pouch letting Mother Earth cleanse away these unwanted energies.
- Bake some cornbread which represents the sun’s radiant power and strength. Also get some strawberries which represent the abundance of this time of year. As you eat and share the cornbread and the strawberries, imagine the sun’s energy filling you and blessing you with abundance and gratitude.
